The 8 guestrooms in 4 different buildings provide total privacy and all feature private baths.
Each room is decorated with delicate and colorful hues unique to Japan that contain within them a story of the ancient colors of Japan.

Goshinsui

Each guestroom is equipped with its own unique bath.While the water is not hot spring water, it does use water known as “Goshinsui”, sacred water drawn from Tamadare Falls in Takachiho Gorge.

Takachiho-jinja Shrine

This shrine was built roughly 1,900 years ago, during the era of Emperor Suinin.The main shrine of the 88 shrines of Takachiho, its main hall and the iron guardian dog statues that protect it are designated as National Important Cultural Properties.

Takachiho Gorge

Takachiho Gorge is a gorge created by pyroclastic flows from the volcanic eruptions of Mt. Aso long ago, as they flowed out in a band along the Gokase River and cooled rapidly. This created the gorge’s breathtaking columnar-jointed cliffs.
